Mercedes Benz A-Class Concept

While the Mercedes-Benz A-Class has long been a favorite in Europe, this entry-level family sedan has been out of reach for U.S. drivers--until now. While the A-Class is not debuting on this side of the pond until 2019, we had a few glimpses of the American version of this exciting vehicle.

The American A-Class will offer two different engines: a 163-horsepower turbo-four in the A 200 and a larger 224-hp turbo-four in the A 250. Both are paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and will be equipped with all-wheel drive.

Inside you will find a cockpit-style cabin with expansive digital dash screen and a wealth of high-quality, soft-touch materials. The spacious interior includes stylish details such as ambient lighting. Although the coupe version of the A-Class won't be offered in the U.S., we do expect the sedan to be available in two separate wheelbase lengths.

Expect a more thorough picture of the American A-Class when it makes its official debut at the Paris Motor Show this fall, followed by an appearance at the Los Angeles Motor Show as its U.S. coming-out. The Mercedes-Benz A-Class is expected to make a big impact among American buyers as an affordable choice in the luxury class.

Although the A-Class won't be available in the U.S. until the end of 2018, visit us anytime to get the latest on this new option from one of the industry's foremost brands. Our sales staff will be happy to answer all your questions about the 2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
