Elite Mercedes would like to send out a huge thank you to everyone who participated in last month's Dash for Down Syndrome 5K & 1 Mile Walk. Due to everyone who supported this incredible event, we were able to raise over $5,000 for the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks, whose sole mission it is to provide a support system for individuals with Down syndrome within Southwestern Missouri. We are incredibly proud of the turnout at this year's race and we appreciate everyone who had a hand in making this event a success.
In addition to the day's races, select runners were acknowledged for their outstanding performance in each event. Awards were given out to the race winners and the top three males/females in each age group, while participation medals were handed on out to Down syndrome participants. We even had fantastic raffle giveaways for a few lucky attendees.
Thanks again to everyone who participated in the Dash for Down Syndrome 5K & 1 Mile Walk, which benefits a worthy cause. We could not have successfully held this event without the support of the Ozarks community and we are extremely grateful for all your help.
