For over 30 years, Mercy Children's Hospital has been serving the Springfield community, and at Elite Mercedes, we want to support their efforts by raising funds for their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Throughout the month of May, we invite you to help us give back to Mercy Children's Hospital by purchasing a new or used car at our dealership. We will be donating $50 to Mercy for every car sold during May and we hope that our contributions will greatly benefit the facility, helping to save a child's life.
In 2013, Elite Mercedes ran a similar drive for Mercy Children's Hospital and we were able to collect $17,500 for the hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This year, we hope to accumulate even greater funds for the facility and we are asking for the community's help to do so. Mercy Children's Hospital is currently the only comprehensive children's hospital in southwest Missouri. Situated within Mercy Hospital Springfield, the facility specializes in pediatric neurosurgery, hematology/oncology, pediatric surgery and pediatric endocrinology. In addition to these specialties, the hospital is home to a 28-bed Level 3B Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staffed by nurse practitioners and neonatologists. The facility also features the region's only burn center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, serving children throughout Springfield.
