Springfield's annual Cider Days festival is returning for 2014 and is scheduled to take place from Sept 20-21 on Historic Walnut Street. Going into its 17th year, this popular event draws in over 15,000 people annually in celebration of fall and one of its signature drinks, apple cider! This year's festivities will feature a collection of incredible activities for adults and children, along with live performances from some of Springfield's best entertainers. Offering two full days of fun, the 17th Annual Cider Days festival is the perfect way to embrace the changing of the seasons and get into the fall spirit.

Over 75 artists have been booked to show off their talents at this year's Cider Days, each specializing in different art forms such as jewelry, glass, wood, photography, fiber and clay. In addition to demonstrating their work, many artists will also be selling their handmade pieces, giving festival goers the chance to acquire artwork to display in their homes. For younger attendees, other activities, including face painting and pumpkin painting, will also be available throughout the weekend-long affair. The festival will be held each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., so make sure you arrive on time to partake in the fun - you won't want to pass up this opportunity!
