The 26th Annual Price Cutter Charity Championship is scheduled to take place at Highland Springs Country Club from August 13-16. A premier summer Springfield event, the golf tournament brings future great PGA players to the Ozarks in order to raise money for children's charities. At last year's event, with support from the community and PGA players, the Championship was able to raise over $1 million, and for 2015, they hope to beat this record in an effort to help fund more local non-profit organizations.

Established in 1990, the Price Cutter Charity Championship is one of the longest-running charity golf tournaments in the Springfield area. Since its arrival over 25 years ago, the Championship has raised close to $12 million for children's charities throughout the area. At this year's event, the tournament will be collecting donations for a variety of excellent charities, including A Sporting Chance, The H.O.P.E. Foundation, Landon's LegOcy and Mercy Children's Hospital. To purchase a ticket package for the Championship today, call or visit the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Sweepstakes tickets are also available through one of the sponsored charities, which give guests access to all four days of the tournament and the chance to win great prizes!
