The long-awaited Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 premiered at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, shocking audiences with its extravagant, futuristic design. The 18-foot, two-door, two-passenger coupe managed to steal the show and quickly became the talk of the annual event.
Sleek is the best way to describe the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6. It features an incredible long nose and a short deck that effortlessly flow into one another with ease. On the front, the coupe sports piercing, thin headlights that sit alongside a large grille that is said to be inspired by a pinstripe suit. The miniscule light design is also applied to the taillights, which seem to connect due to the addition of a large stripe across the backend. Holding up the car are 24-inch wheels with transparent panels that standout on their own.

The interior of the concept is where technology reigns supreme. A touch-sensitive interface is embedded within the wrap-around glass trim and the windshield has the capability of displaying information in front of the driver. There is also a set of analog buttons featured below to glass interface. The seats are also high-tech and come with sensors that can customize the comfort level for each passenger as well as the lighting.
Delivering 783 horsepower, the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 is outfitted with four electric motors. It even has an 80 kWh battery that supports a 200-mile driving range. With a special charger, the coupe can offer a 62-mile driving range in just five minutes. If that’s not impressive enough, the vehicle can go from 0 to 62 mph in under four seconds, blowing past the competition.
While we hope Mercedes-Benz will release a production version of the concept in the future, we do not know if one will see the light of day. We’ll keep you updated on the model as news is released to the public on our blog.
