2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC vs 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLE

Mercedes-Benz is known for its creative luxury and futuristic designs. The GLC is what Mercedes-Benz calls a "future SUV." This bestseller comes with a huge center touchscreen infotainment system that functions like a tablet and a beautiful display of design language for the center console. Customers interested in the GLE will want to compare this one to the GLC to decide which one will provide the most luxurious and convenient family travel.

Performance

The horsepower range for the Mercedes-Benz GLC is between 255 HP and 385 HP. With its high-powered AMG GLE variant, the GLE can go up to 605 horsepower, but it starts out at 255 HP as well. Models like the GLE 450 4MATIC® come with a 362 horsepower engine that's dialed up to 369 lb-ft of torque.

Appearance

Both the GLC and GLE have vastly different design characteristics, starting with their luxurious grille. Both have a large Mercedes-Benz logo in the middle, but the GLC features a large grille area with two dual signatures. The GLE is a more barred type grille with a top and bottom bar with ample space between to create a distinct look. The striking red leather interiors of the GLC are part of its charm, and the GLE comes with optional features like a wood/leather steering wheel, brushed stainless steel pedals, and metal weave trim.

Features

Machine learning is a big topic this year, and the GLE is a model that's taking it to new heights. The 2023 GLE can learn what your phrases mean as time goes along so that you can more effectively communicate your wants. The more you talk to the system, the smarter it gets. The GLC also uses natural language through its "Hey Mercedes" function. The interior of both models is designed with advanced ambient lighting and luxurious upholstery. The GLE features a floating, all-digital dash, while the GLC comes with an 11.9-inch central touchscreen display.
