The 8th Annual American Cancer Society Cattle Baron’s Ball is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. This important local event aims to raise money for cancer research and local programs designed to benefit individuals battling the disease.
Since its debut over seven years ago, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has raised over $4.4 million for cancer research. It continues to be a premier event in the Springfield area, allowing community members and local businesses to come forward and show their support for the fight against cancer. This year’s ball will once again feature several auction packages and a range of incredible big-ticket items, including jewelry, spa packages and livestock, to name a few. Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to purchase a Star of Hope in honor of someone that is currently fighting cancer or someone who has lost the battle. These stars will be presented during the Cattle Baron’s Ball.
