A classy, full-size sedan that exudes elegance, the 2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG E63 is a force to be reckoned with on any road. The upscale car recently made its debut at the LA Auto Show, where it strutted its good looks, high-end features and super-powerful engine.
Underneath the hood of the E63, you’ll find a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that makes a mind-blowing 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. This powerplant is the most powerful of the Mercedes-Benz AMG lineup. The base E63 is still quite the super sedan, producing 563 horses and 553 pound-feet of torque. The car is fast, very fast. It can sprint to 60 in just 3.4 seconds. No matter what model you choose though, all brand-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedans come with a nine-speed AMG Speedshift multi-clutch transmission.
The 2018 AMG E63 is posh on the inside and well-equipped – so much so that you’re sure to feel like royalty each time you take the car for a spin. The AMG Performance seats are draped in black nappa leather. The car’s signature style continues with its carbon fiber trim and “Edition 1” lettering on the top of the steering wheel.
