Elite Automotive Group would like to thank the Springfield community for attending the 2016 Girls on the Run Valentine Soiree held on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at The Old Glass Place. It was truly an evening to remember and we appreciate everyone’s help in making this year’s charity event one for the books!
Girls on the Run of Southwest Missouri is an organization that is dear to us here at Elite Automotive Group. We are a proud supporter of their mission, which is to inspire young girls to be healthy and confident through the use of an experience-based curriculum integrating running. Each year we take part in their annual Valentine Soiree, which aims to raise funds for this wonderful organization in an effort to keep the program running for years to come. Featuring appetizers, dinner and a special silent auction, this event draws in a whirlwind of supporters each year and this year’s gathering was no exception. The outpouring of support received was humbling and we are thankful for everyone who attended the 2016 Valentine Soiree.
Established in 1996 in Charlotte, NC, Girls on the Run is one of a few organizations that aims to nurture pre-adolescent girls and provide them with the tools they need to become successful, self-reliant adults. With programs in over 225 cities, Girls on the Run currently serves more than 168,000 girls nationwide and continues to expand, benefiting young women everywhere.
