Ah, the crisp and cool feeling of that fall air hitting your face is priceless. And now that autumn is officially underway, it’s time to gather your family and friends and partake in one of Springfield’s favorite festivals – Harvest Fest! From now through Oct. 30, you’re invited to head on out to the Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park, located at 3825 West Farm Road 146, to enjoy all that this fabulous festival has to offer.
Get in the spirit of the season by picking the perfect pumpkin and taking a hay ride at this energetic event that offers plenty of fun things to do and see for all who attend. Here, you’ll also find a corn maze and cow train rides that are sure to bring a smile to your face as you zip through the lush landscape of this pristine property.
If the above activities don’t quite suit you or your children’s idea of outdoor fun, then you’ll have to come check out the carnival games and numerous inflatables that are always a big hit with guests. The excitement doesn’t stop there either; there’s also a Halloween Fun Field that is geared toward two-year-old kids and under. It offers child-friendly Halloween displays, games and much more.
