Replacing its predecessor, the Mercedes-Benz GLK, the brand-new GLC is larger but lighter and features a solid mixture of ultra-high-strength steels and aluminum. Every new model comes standard with three-point safety belts, several high-quality airbags and antilock brakes. Also standard is a rearview camera for easier backing up and parking maneuverability. A wide range of driver aids can also be had, including rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision notification, adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking.
