Mercedes-Benz is known for its collaborations. There's an exciting cultural match soon to occur between the iconic automaker and Colm Dillane, a U.S. fashion designer responsible for KidSuper. It's going to be a time of unique events and extraordinary imagination as the two brands join together to celebrate the global soccer competition.
Mercedes-Benz and Colm Dillane Join Forces
The festivities are already underway. Seven total nations are involved in the collaboration. KidSuper fashion pieces will be the centerpiece of the events, and then, of course, Mercedes-Benz is also joining in to celebrate their own 140-year legacy and global soccer.
For all brands involved, it's about celebrating soccer. As the World Cup continues, Mercedes-Benz will find new ways to incorporate their own legacy into KidSuper fashion shows and other Colm Dillane celebrations. This includes pairing some of Mercedes-Benz's own great models from model years where a specific country cemented its greatest triumph in soccer.
The seven countries that are involved include Uruguay, Germany, Argentina, England, Spain, France, and Brazil. Mercedes-Benz models paired with these countries include the Mercedes-Benz 220 SE (Brazil: 1958), 300 SL Coupe (Germany: 1954), and 600 (England: 1966). There are far more models than this that Mercedes-Benz plans to show off, but these are some of the highlights that folks can look forward to. These pairings are even more exciting because they show off a limited edition KidSuper design.
Mercedes-Benz, Colm Dillane, and soccer fans can look forward to the debut celebration in Miami at the Spring/Summer 2027 runway show in June 2026. Coming in fall is the limited Mercedes-Benz x KidSuper fashion collection, which will be defined by what Mercedes-Benz calls "storytelling, bold color, and unconventional tailoring."
This is a great time for anyone who loves the Mercedes-Benz brand. They're doing a lot to celebrate their "140 years of innovation." Mercedes-Benz marks its beginning from the time Carl Benz filed for the patent on his first automotive design. Since then, the world has never been the same. It's great to see Mercedes-Benz helping other brands celebrate soccer culture as well, and we look forward to seeing all the events and models that the automaker plans to share with the world as it commemorates its 140-year legacy.
