Image: Williams and Morad Lead TR3 Racing Mercedes-AMG to Victory at Road America

First-year TR3 Racing driver Brayton Williams and his driving coach Daniel Morad earned a decisive victory at the SRO GT World Challenge America Three-Hour Endurance Contest at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI, this past August. Williams delivered what was considered the finest opening stint of his budding racing career, battling at the front of the field for the Pro-Am Class win throughout his run. Morad then took the wheel for the final leg, seizing the lead with 40 minutes remaining and taking the checkered flag with a commanding 6.433-second margin of victory. The triumph marks TR3 Racing's first endurance win since returning to the SRO America series, as well as Morad's third GT World Challenge victory behind the wheel of a Mercedes-AMG GT3 following two Pro class wins at Virginia International Raceway in 2023.

TR3 Racing joined two competing JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 entries in the field, helping make Mercedes-AMG the first manufacturer to secure Pro or Pro-Am victories in the GT World Challenge this season. The No. 34 JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 team of Michai Stephens and Mikael Grenier captured two Pro class victories, while the No. 27 JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 driven by Jason Daskalos and Philip Ellis claimed an overall Pro-Am class win at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.
