The S 580 upgrades to a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 engine that produces up to 496 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Regardless of the trim you choose, the 2026 S-Class uses an automatic nine-speed transmission.

The 580 has the same appearance features as the 500, but you can order a special Edition 580 package to give it some unique styling features, including trim accents and 19-inch wheels, along with upgraded brakes and custom floor mats. This package offers a wider range of interior and exterior color schemes as well, and it upgrades the interior with wood trim and leather accents.
