What Are the 2023 G-Class Trims & Features?

The 2023 Mercedes-Benz G-Class comes in three trim levels: G 550, AMG® G 63, and AMG® G 63 4x4 Squared.

G 550

The G 550 comes with 19-inch wheels, a brush guard, LED headlights, steel side steps, a sunroof, heated and power-folding side mirrors, and a tow hitch. There's going to be big screen time (12.3-inch touchscreens), perforated leather-appointed seats, and Nappa upholstery available. For the exterior, the first looks show an incredible arrangement of earth-tone paints and 18-inch matte black wheels.

AMG® G 63

The AMG® G 63 adds a bit more excitement to the G-Class lineup, specifically with a more boisterous V8 engine. Standard features include all those in the G 550, plus adaptive air suspension, sport exhaust, extended leather-wrapped dash and panels, and a surround-view camera.

AMG® G 63 4x4 Squared

The G63 4x4 Squared (pricing not yet announced) is the most off-road-capable G-Class available. It has exclusive drive axles that allow for an additional suspension lift and 22-inch wheels with all-terrain tires.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 G-Class Have?

The G 550 SUV and AMG® G 63 SUV are both part of the G-Class. The G 550 is equipped with a twin-turbo V-8 engine that generates 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, enabling it to perform equally well on both the street and the trail. It comes standard with a 4MATIC® all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission that handles power distribution seamlessly. Meanwhile, the AMG® G 63 delivers even more: 627 lb-ft of torque and 577 horsepower.
