We all know what it’s like to scour a parking lot in search of an empty space. Yep, it’s no fun. That’s why Mercedes-Benz, along with automotive supplier Bosch, have been working together to develop a remote parking pilot feature that will end parking problems once and for all. According to Bloomberg, this technology should be made available on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class as early as 2017.

The automaker says the E-Class would use its ultrasound sensors to find open spaces at speeds up to 34 miles per hour and relay that to a network. Drivers searching for parking in that area would receive information that would let them know if it is possible for them to locate an open space based on shared information.

For 2017, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan has undergone a complete redesign. Featuring an enhanced interior and impeccable materials, the new E-Class takes luxury to a whole new level. The rest of the E-Class lineup remains unchanged.

Every new E300 sedan comes standard with state-of-the-art features like 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, automatic wipers, heated power-folding mirrors, a sunroof, selectable drive modes, an adaptive suspension, cruise control and keyless ignition.

Both powerful and elegant, the 2017 E-Class sedan was built for success. Come test drive one of them today at Elite Automotive Group in Springfield, Missouri.
