Mercedes kicked off the festivities in Las Vegas, where it invited the two actors to join for a festive and fun-filled ceremony launching the AMG GT 4-door coupe. Mercedes chose to invite Brad Pitt in particular for his acting role in F1® THE MOVIE, and his impressive acting throughout the movie. Mercedes, in praise of Brad’s performance during the movie, says that his innovative spirit, performance, and ambition align with the spirit of the AMG GT 4 Door Coupe, which in turn makes Brad a perfect partner for Mercedes’ launch of the innovative and daring new GT model.
Pitt and Russell Debut the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe
Along with Brad Pitt, Mercedes is also honoring actor George Russell with the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. The automaker chose to honor and acknowledge both actors at a special event in Las Vegas, where it debuted a camouflaged version of the highly anticipated AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. In a presentation fitting for two of the world’s leading actors, Mercedes staged the entrance of the AMG to have Russell driving the car to meet Pitt as a disguised valet driver, who ultimately swooped up the fellow actor and both enjoyed the performance and amenities of the GT together.
