The new year brings new milestones for Mercedes-Benz, which is planning an exciting new launch to kick off 2026. At CES 2026, Mercedes will unveil an all-new electric vehicle called the Mercedes-Benz GLC. This vehicle is a highly anticipated car, as it is based on the GLC, which is Mercedes’ best-selling vehicle to date. The GLC will have even more features to enjoy, including enhanced video streaming, music streaming, and much more.

New Technology for 2026

The new Mercedes-Benz electric GLC is poised to draw crowds by taking the popular GLC’s most salient features and adding on even more amenities for occupants to enjoy. The electric GLC will give consumers an all-new media and music experience with upgraded technology. The electric GLC will contain immersive audio technology thanks to Spatial Audio and native sound integrations, which are available through Apple CarPlay. The car’s sound system also includes Dolby Atmos, which is used in Apple CarPlay, along with Integration, which is part of the MBUX package. Collectively, the electric GLS’s technology is part of the Mercedes “Welcome Home” package, which is designed to give occupants a feeling of comfort and relaxation while delivering cutting-edge technology.

Along with the new music experience it will bring to consumers in the GLC, Mercedes also plans to equip its electric CLA with a state-of-the-art audio experience. Mercedes-Benz will enable enhanced video streaming on its electric GLC with several technology features, including RIDEVU, which is powered by Sony Pictures Entertainment, DTS: X Sound, and IMAX enhanced content. To give consumers a sneak preview of the exciting new features they can enjoy with their select Mercedes model, the automaker will debut media using its new vehicle technology at Dolby Live, which is held in Las Vegas. The event will feature immersive audio demonstrations and allow consumers to get a first look at the Mercedes-Benz CLA, along with the GLC.

In addition to the new music and audio features that it contains, the new electric GLC will have driver-assist technology powered by key tech partners, too. The electric GLC will contain the MB.OS platform, which is an AI-driven system, and consumers can opt for a 39.1-inch display screen called MBUX Hyperscreen, which is the largest screen that Mercedes offers. The electric GLC will also come with AI technology powered by Google and Microsoft. Through a third party, Mercedes is also equipping the electric GLC with a vegan interior.
