
What's New For the 2020 Mercedes-Benz S-Class?
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class features a tranquil cabin, a smooth ride, a strong engine lineup, a wide variety of trims, and a customizable luxurious cabin. Active Parking Assist and Keyless-Go are now standard on all trims. The coupe and cabriolet models also now come standard with the Premium package.
The S-Class Has Many Features Across Several Trims
The 2020 S-Class is offered in the following trims: S 450, S 560, S 560e, AMG S 63, and AMG S 65. Standard features include 18-inch wheels, a premium 13-speaker Burmester surround sound system, adaptive LED headlights, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto-dimming and power-folding mirrors, a GPS navigation system, a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch Mercedes-Benz COMAND infotainment display, a power trunk, a 115-volt household-style power receptacle, an air-ride adaptive suspension, a wireless charging pad, keyless start, a power rear sunshade, soft-close doors, a virtual gauge cluster, an air fragrancer, and 16-way power front seats with memory controls and heat.
The S 560e includes a hybrid powertrain and some exclusive hybrid features such as an economy mode for optimal battery charging and a climate control system that can heat or cool the interior prior to entry.
The available Premium package adds multi-contour massaging and ventilated front seats, an automated parking system, and a 360-degree parking camera system. The Warmth and Comfort package includes a heated steering wheel, heated front, and rear armrests, heated and power rear seats with memory controls. Standalone options include high-performance brakes, a premium 26-speaker Burmester surround sound system, a night-vision camera, a rear wireless charging pad, and a head-up display.

2020 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Power & Performance
The base S 450 comes standard with a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that delivers 362 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque to a nine-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. All-wheel drive is optional. The S 560 features a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 that produces 463 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The S 560e includes a turbocharged V6 that is coupled to an electric motor to deliver 469 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The AMG S 63 features a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 that pumps out an impressive 603 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The AMG S 65 includes a massive 6.0-liter turbocharged V12 that produces 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class was designed with your safety in mind and comes standard with forward-collision alert, a drowsy driver alert system, forward automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot alert, and lane departure warning.
