Elite Mercedes hosted their annual Open Haus event on Friday, May 22, which drew in Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts from all throughout the Springfield community. The gathering, held from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M., took place in Elite Mercedes' luxurious showroom, where guests had the opportunity to view the new Mercedes SLK250 and S550 models, and learn about their exquisite features.

One of America's top-selling musical acts during the classic rock era, the Steve Miller Band, will be performing at Springfield's O'Reilly Family Event Center on Friday, May 29. A fixture in rock during the '60s and '70s, the Steve Miller Band had a string of incredible hits, including "Space Cowboy" and "Fly Like an Eagle." Still well known today, these songs continue to resonate with music fans and draw in new fans.

Elite Mercedes would like to thank everyone who attended the 2015 Dash for Down Syndrome 5K on Saturday, March 21. Held at our dealership, the annual race drew in an astounding number of people throughout the Springfield community. Benefitting Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks, the Dash for Down Syndrome 5K was able to raise an incredible $5,700 to support the organization and its active members.

Elite Mercedes has signed on to sponsor the Dash for Down Syndrome 5K once again this year, which is slated to be held on Saturday, March 21 at our dealership. The race, consisting of both a 5K and 1-mile walk, will raise awareness for Down syndrome and benefit the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks. Last year, we were able to raise over $5,000 for the organization, and for 2015, we hope to surpass this record.

The Girls on the Run Southwest Missouri chapter will be holding a very special Valentine Soiree on Saturday, Feb. 7 at The Old Glass Place in Springfield. As a proud supporter of the organization, which utilizes running exercises to encourage young girls to live a healthy lifestyle, Elite Mercedes would like to extend an invite to the entire community to attend this charity dinner.

Elite Mercedes was honored to bring joy to one local family this holiday season as a part of the KTTS Christmas Crusade. We had a great experience participating in the program, which helps provide a proper Christmas for less fortunate families, and enjoyed getting one special family wonderful gifts and items on their "wish list" that they will cherish for years to come.

Elite Mercedes would like to sincerely thank everyone throughout the community who participated in last month's 9th Annual Run to the Lights 5K, which was held on Friday, Nov. 7. Benefiting The Caring People, an organization that connects single moms with strong, Christian women, the race garnered a record-breaking 1,750 runners this year and raised over $75,000!

With more than 13 years of experience in local sales and management, Williams was a prime choice for the prestigious honor applauding her efforts over the course of her career. As a prominent member of Elite Mercedes' team, Williams continues to be an outstanding leader and advisor.

Now 77, Holtrof spent the last 26 years of his life exploring the world with his wife, Christine Holtrof, by his side in a Mercedes 300GD. The couple journeyed to 215 countries during their voyages, experiencing life in way that would make any traveler envious.
