We invite the Springfield community to come together on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Drury University’s Findlay Student Center to take part in this year’s JDRF One Walk, a charity event for type 1 diabetes. This special 5K walk aims to increase awareness for type 1 diabetes and raise funds for research that will help those affected by the disease and one day lead to a cure.

Known as Springfield’s premier winery, OOVVDA Winery will be holding one of their popular wine tasting events on Saturday, March 26, 2016. Open to the public, this outing is completely free and a must-attend event for wine aficionados looking to enjoy a nice Saturday sipping handcrafted wines and listening to live music from local musicians.

Elite Mercedes is proudly taking part in this year's Big Lot'A Food Drive. From now until the end of November, we’re asking our customers and everyone living in the Springfield community to help us collect food items for Grand Oak Mission Center. Each item donated will be used to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for less fortunate families visiting the center this holiday season.

The American Cancer Society is a worthy organization we take a lot of pride in supporting. Each year they hold several Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events throughout the country in an effort to raise awareness for the disease and we are happy to announce that we will be sponsoring this year's Springfield Making Strides event.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks will be holding their inaugural Red Shoe Gala on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at the Missouri State University Ballroom. Open to the public, this fundraising event provides locals with a great opportunity to enjoy a fun night out while also helping out an excellent organization, Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The 26th Annual Price Cutter Charity Championship is scheduled to take place at Highland Springs Country Club from August 13-16. A premier summer Springfield event, the golf tournament brings future great PGA players to the Ozarks in order to raise money for children's charities. At last year's event, with support from the community and PGA players, the Championship was able to raise over $1 million, and for 2015, they hope to beat this record in an effort to help fund more local non-profit organizations.
