2021 Mercedes-Benz GLS

What's New For the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLS?

The GLS is one of the largest SUVs offered by Mercedes-Benz, and it's also one of the most luxurious. The GLS SUV is a three-row SUV that was redesigned in 2020. It was selected as a class leader in 2020, and it has even more notable qualities in 2021. This model year, changes to the GLS SUV focus primarily on power and performance. The Mercedes-Benz is newly available with a more powerful engine that produces an impressive 603 HP in maximum power output. You also have the option of getting a new trim.

2021 GLS SUV Trims & Features

In 2021, the Mercedes-Benz GLS comes in three trim levels. The first trim is the GLS 450, followed by the 580 and a new AMG. The GLS 450 has a large infotainment system called MBUX. The infotainment system, which was added as an updated feature in 2020, has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a high-end Burmester sound system. While most SUVs have one or two USB ports, the base trim level of the GLS SUV has a whopping total of nine. It makes connectivity easy and convenient with wireless device charging, and it features standard LED lighting and a keyless entry system.

Although the GLS has a standard seating capacity for seven people, you can switch to a seating arrangement for six people instead of with captain's chairs in the back. The 580 comes with a few more luxury bonuses, including more safety technology, front-row seats that are ventilated and heated, and four climate control zones. More safety technology is added to this trim, and it has an upgraded engine. The AMG trim level, which is new for 2021, has a more powerful standard engine capable of over 600 HP. The AMG GLS trim has a seven-inch touchscreen interface with advanced navigation. It also adds massaging seats in the second row and a larger center console in the front.
