What Features are Available for the 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Mercedes-Benz adds some significant changes for the 2022 model. All Mercedes models now come with standard automatic high-beam headlights. In addition, the 2022 E=Class lineup has many new paint schemes, including Starling Blue Metallic, Nautical Blue Metallic, Manufacktur Moonlight, and Starling Blue Metallic.


The different trim levels for 2022 are E350 Sedan, E450 Sedan, E450 Coupe, and E450 Caborliet. Each trim level includes standard features including LED headlights, power-adjustable and heated front seats, climate control, simulated leather upholstery, 12.3-inch infotainment system, MBUX infotainment interface, keyless entry with push-button start, and digital instrument cluster.

Higher trim levels include an all-wheel-drive, infotainment system with Apple CarPlan and Android Auto, passive entry, and heated front seats with memory settings. Other optional systems include a heads-up display, heated steering wheel, air suspension system, ventilated front-seat cushions, and an air suspension system.

2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Performance

The 2022 E-Class has three different powerful engines. The E-350 turbo is a four-cylinder engine with 255 hp and 273 pounds of torque. The E-450 offers a hybrid-powered turbocharged six-cylinder engine and a 48-volt hybrid system. The electric supercharged setup creates 362 hp and 369 pounds of torque delivered to all four wheels. Finally, a more powerful 429 hp version is available with 384 pounds of torque. All engines are coupled to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class delivers a comfortable ride without compromise when being pushed hard. Riding on the optional air suspension system, the E-Class glides over highways forgiving all the imperfections. The E350 mileage ratings are 22 mpg city and 31 mpg highway, and all-wheel drive is 22 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. The E450 model has similar mileage ratings.

The E-Class has many standard safety features, including blind-spot monitoring and automated emergency braking. Other key safety features include:
