What's New for the 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE?
Mercedes-Benz has revealed the new EQE Concept, and it looks like a promising electric car. This vehicle is fitted with a new EQ Power+, which is a 100% electric powertrain with a range of 250 miles.
Additionally, the EQE's battery can get charged to 80% of its capacity in just 15 minutes, and it offers Level 3 charging compatibility for use in public charging stations.
Another great addition is the plug-and-play charging system. The innovative technology "wakes up" the EQE's batteries after being parked to charge, even on a hot summer day.
The vehicle also automatically communicates with nearby charging stations and can intelligently determine if it's safe to plug in. This technology will make it possible for electric cars to transition seamlessly into public infrastructure.
Trims & Features
For the EQE, there will be three vehicles available: a sedan, a coupe, and a sports car. The sedan will have a range of 250 miles and a 0-62 mph acceleration time of 4.9 seconds. The coupe and sports car will see ranges of 218 miles and can do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. EQ Power+ powers all three cars.

Performance Features
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE performs 288 horsepower with 417 lb-ft of torque. The EQE has an in-house suspension system, taking inspiration from the vehicle's exterior. This system, which is derived from the E Class' air suspension system, can support the vehicle and improve ride comfort while also saving weight by reducing dampers in favor of a lower center of gravity.
Furthermore, the new electric powertrain offers a new two-speed automatic transmission, which allows the car to operate in a hybrid mode with a 1:1 shift ratio.
Besides that, there are two new driving modes: EQ Mode and Max Range Mode. In the former, the car can drive more efficiently, with optimized acceleration, regenerative braking, and adjustment of the level of assistance.
On the other hand, Max Range Mode acts as a safeguard for when the battery is low on charge, allowing drivers to optimize their range on the remaining power they have.
Safety Features
2023 Mercedes-Benz EQE comes standard with Forward Collision Warning Plus, Distronic Plus, and Blind Spot Assist Plus. The vehicle also has crosswind assist, maintained traction, brake assist, and pedestrian detection. The sedan and coupe models also have emergency braking and forward-collision warning. An active emergency braking system is also optionally available.
