The Girls on the Run Southwest Missouri chapter will be holding a very special Valentine Soiree on Saturday, Feb. 7 at The Old Glass Place in Springfield. As a proud supporter of the organization, which utilizes running exercises to encourage young girls to live a healthy lifestyle, Elite Mercedes would like to extend an invite to the entire community to attend this charity dinner.

It may have only debuted on the market four years ago, but the Mercedes-AMG's 5.5L V8 is already on the cusp of being put out to pasture. The beloved high-speed engine, which outputs an incredible 577 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft. of torque, is set to make two final appearances in upcoming models before being replaced by an all-new 4.0L twin-turbo V8.

At this year's International Consumer Electronics Show, the manufacturer debuted their all-new self-driving research car: the F 015 Luxury in Motion. Futuristic in appearance, the ultramodern, innovative sedan introduced attendees to Mercedes’ vision of autonomous cars and the future of technology.

German company G-Power is the latest car-tuning manufacturer to put their own personal spin on the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe. The high-end luxury car, which has a standard output of 621 horsepower when fitted with a 6.0L V-12 engine, has been reconfigured by the company to produce a jaw-dropping 705 horsepower. With its new capabilities, the S63 AMG is an unstoppable powerhouse that will make any Mercedes fan swoon.

The all-new Mercedes C-Class Coupe is on its way, and according to recent sources, it's slated to make its big debut in December 2015. The high-powered luxury model has quite the following across the globe and many are waiting for it to make its mark on the automotive market. The cabrio variant could also end up debuting at the same time as the C-Class Coupe, which would give fans a glimpse of both brand-new models.

Elite Mercedes would like to sincerely thank everyone throughout the community who participated in last month's 9th Annual Run to the Lights 5K, which was held on Friday, Nov. 7. Benefiting The Caring People, an organization that connects single moms with strong, Christian women, the race garnered a record-breaking 1,750 runners this year and raised over $75,000!

The Maybach name has been resurrected once again by Daimler and this time the imprint is expected to appear on three upcoming sedans. Although there have been rumors about a possible GL-based Maybach SUV, the company is denying one is in the works. Maybach versions of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan are their main focus for the time being; however, Mercedes sales and marketing chief Ola Kaellenius said he wouldn't 'rule anything out' for the future.

A road trip across the world is only a dream for many, but for German native Gunther Holtrof, it's a reality. Now 77, Holtrof spent the last 26 years of his life exploring the world with his wife, Christine Holtrof, by his side in a Mercedes 300GD. The couple journeyed to 215 countries during their voyages, experiencing life in way that would make any traveler envious.
