2018 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be taking its place on the market in due time, and when it does, it will offer a barrage of new engines. The incoming powerplants are expected to debut as early as June, with select variants showing up first on the E250 and E300 models.

Back in April we told you that Mercedes-Benz is planning to release their very first pickup onto the market, and just recently, we received news regarding the model’s name. According to sources, the luxury truck will continues to brand’s nomenclature, but don a special moniker that will separate it from its peers and fellow Mercedes-Benz models alike.

It’s true. The Mercedes-Benz SLK is long gone, but it has not been forgotten. To keep its legacy going, Mercedes-Benz has launched a new hardtop roadster based off the classic model, which has been named the SLC. At this year’s Detroit Auto Show, Mercedes-Benz debuted the new vehicle to a room full of excited car enthusiasts and showed off elegantly crafted design.

Just recently, Mercedes-Benz has been seen testing their all-new GLC Coupe model in Sweden, which is slated to arrive in North America later this year. The model, based off the GLC Coupe Concept (pictured above) that debuted in 2015 at the Shanghai Motor Show, will go head to head against other premium models on the market today, including the BMW X4 compact luxury crossover.

Over the past few months, rumors have suggested that Mercedes-Benz is planning on developing an electric car, and just recently, we received new updates stating that an all-electric SUV could be on the way. Reports claim the all-new model will be based off the newly introduced Mercedes-Benz GLC and be renamed the Mercedes-Benz ELC.

Rumor has it that Mercedes-AMG is currently working on adding a new model to the AMG GT lineup: the Mercedes-AMG GT R. The new high-performance model will join the existing AMG GT and AMG GT S, serving as the latest top-of-the-line option in the AMG GT roster. Also said to be in the works over at AMG is a new E63, which will be based on the soon-to-be-released fifth-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

It was just recently that we announced the arrival of the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe for 2016 and now we have word that a fuel cell model based on the GLC is set to debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. The first of its kind in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, the fuel cell vehicle will go head to head against some of the industry's most prominent new fuel cell models featured on the market today.
